Method of performance test of sensor |
Relation
between set up time and operate
The fire alert is activated with long
term more than set up.
For example, the sensor what set 5second
term is no action with 4second fire.
With no alert and blinking LED lights
means it is sensing flame.
Attention - The condition is not allow
to make fire, Do not site test.

1) Test with lighter
Method of test
Use this method ordinary when
you want to test simply in 1~3
meter. in this case the distance
is affected by sensitivity. |

2) Simple Test with
torch
Method of test
Use this method ordinary in site
when you want to operation test
in 5~10 meter. The flame which
made by torch is maintained
longer than set up, it makes
fire alert system activate. In
this case, sensitivity is belong
the size of flame.
also, the blue flame from torch
is too small, then upside down
the torch and shake it to make
yellow flame and make it as
large as to sense.

3) The test method with
fire plane
Method of test
① The case of testing within the
range of nominal sensing
distance.
(Use plane size 33cm(W) x
33cm(L) x 5cm(H))
Usually the case is incongruent
to test with lighter or torch,
then it needs the flame size
that using fire plane is filed
with fuel and its combustion.
According to the rules of KOFEIS(KOrea Fire Equipment
Inspection Standard) from Korea
Fire Equipment Inspection
Corporation, the sensor's
activation is allowed over the
fixed standard otherwise,
failure.
The point of attention is, it
needs enough water supplying and
enough gap under the plane to
cut off the heat transfer while
testing. (It needs our
consultation.)

maximum nominal sensing
distance.
(Use plane size 70cm(W) x
70cm(L) x 5cm(H))
Test in same condition with #①.
If the fire of small plane
(33cm(W) x 33cm(L) x 5cm(H)) is
not enough to sense in this
distance, then use lager fire
from lager one(70cm(W) x 70cm(L)
x 5cm(H)) according to the rules
of KOFEIS.
(Not only lager one but also
small one can test activation.) |
